01 — THE WORK
The scenic space becomes a metaphor for the world: small degraded urinal-dwellings.
A non-place where desire vanishes in the sinking of souls into themselves.
Here desire transforms into destructive anguish and assumes an anti-erotic meaning: the suicide of eros.
Our guide is Salvatore, an anti-hero, angel of the dripping of a world now drained.
02 — DIRECTION
Within Tre Riti sull'Amore, Battuage is the last station: the bottom.
Liturgy of the bottom.
Ritual no longer founds or opens thresholds: it overturns into profaned liturgy and survives as an empty protocol.
Water is no longer the sea, but the dripping of a leaking interior.
Song deforms into insult, language becomes spit.
The living and the dead do not alternate: they coexist until they merge.
